My name is Savannah Travis, and I’m a sophomore at Ohio Wesleyan University. With lifelong roots in the Pacific Northwest, a lifelong background in dance, and a strong connection to conscious eating and natural living, I was worried that college food, in Ohio no less, might not fit my healthy, vegan lifestyle. What I’ve come to find is that nutritious food can be found no matter where you are, as long as you develop a critical and creative eye!
This blog will consist of recipes and food preparation tips, all invented and photographed right here in my college dorm room. The blog will also share amateur food wisdom, and occasional life rambles. Enjoy.

- Small frying pan
- Flat, wooden spoon
- Oil (I use both olive and coconut, depending on the dish)
- Cutting board
- Small, sharp knife
- Bowl, plate, mug and utensils (I use ceramic)
- Creative, open-minded disposition 🙂
